holiday gift wrap style with Hallmark!

I have a lot of "favorites" when it comes to the holiday season (advent calendars, gum drops, twinkle lights and of course, my specialty: shopping)... but wrapping gifts is a tradition that never gets overlooked in this household and is one that I have so much fun with! My motto is... it's better to give than to receive, and it's even better if that gift is beautifully presented.  I have loved wrapping gifts since I was little when I would always offer up my services to my parents at the holidays (PLEASE let me do the wrapping I would say!) and it continues today. It is my yearly tradition to carve out a chunk of time - preferably while the kids are at school, but let's be honest, sometimes it happens at midnight on December 23 - and do all the wrapping at once.  I set up all my supplies on the kitchen island and get the Christmas music or a Christmas movie going and I get down to business! I love picking out the perfect paper and bow combination, the sound of the scissors slicing the fresh paper and of course, showing up to an event with a perfectly wrapped gift is the icing on the cake. Wrapping and giving gifts is always a highlight of my holiday season.

My wrapping style is definitely characterized as Senior Elf Status. No gift is complete without a box, the tissue paper, then beautiful wrapping paper and finally finished off with a bow and a tag. I go for the full experience - just like the Big Guy taught me! That is why I was super thrilled when Hallmark offered to send me a selection of their wrapping supplies this holiday season to get a head start on the whole process.  Call me crazy but each year I like to choose a color theme for my gifts under the tree. This year I am going with black and red with some pops of green.  Hallmark has all my (maybe over the top) schemes covered with gift wrapping products that easily mix and match but still have me fulfilling all my color-obsessed dreams. I'm so obsessed with this gingham wrap, these little puff ball bows are ADORABLE. When it comes to ribbon, they have you covered with a classic gently wired ribbon or a simple grosgrain style like this striped version that I really love.  These amazing products are keeping my Senior Elf Status up to date this year!

If you are an Elf in Training, that is if you are in a hurry or aren't into the entire process of gift wrapping (hey, I totally get that!) then you will love their selection of gift bags as well.  Simply pop the gift in the bag and add some tissue paper and VOILA you are set to go! Plus, I discovered that these gift bags have handy interior card pockets - so brilliant! Your gift recipient will never have to dig through the bag for the card again. I mean, how simple is that? There is no need to stress over the gift wrapping portion of the holidays... Hallmark has you covered no matter your gift wrapping style.

Hallmark carries all the holiday supplies you need in addition to wrapping paper like greeting cards, keepsake ornaments and giftables. You can easily pop into your local Hallmark (find a location near you here) or order online (my favorite!) and let the fun begin!
